“Just about every major issue affecting Idaho’s water users will be examined during the convention,” said Norm Semanko, IWUA executive director.
Special topic workshops will also be provided for irrigation directors, managers and staff. The association will also set down resolutions to be considered and adopted by IWUA's membership to help guide the Association's activities for the coming year.
IWUA will also elect officers during the convention. IWUA officials will present a bevy of annual awards at a special luncheon on Wednesday. These will include naming additions to the IWUA Hall of Fame, the IWUA Water Conservation Award, Water Quality Achievement Award, Water Statesman Award and several other special, individual awards.
