Muzzie Braun to play at Idaho Rural Council meeting

GLENNS FERRY, Idaho 2/15/08 - Idaho native Muzzie Brau will perform at Carmela Vineyards in Glenns Ferry Saturday, March , after the Idaho Rural Council 2008 Annual Meeting

Braun has been writing, recording and performing his own brand of Idaho music for 30 years. He has been featured and performed in just about every possible type of venue and form of media, including several appearances on the Tonight Show with both, Johnny Carson and Jay Leno. Coming from a musical family, he began performing with his brothers while still in high school. He spent nine years touring and recording with his four sons as Muzzie Braun and the Boys.

Braun’s latest CD, the Kitchen, is a back-to-roots acoustic project with Braun writing all the songs and recording them in his dancehall recording studio, located in his mountain home in the backwoods country of central Idaho. Only IRC members and invited guest can attend the meeting, but the public is welcome to attend Braun’s performance.

Directions to Carmela Vineyards:

Heading West on I-84: (from Twin Falls) Take Exit 121 and turn left.

You will be on E. 1st Street. Stay on this street until Commercial Street ( You will see the Carmela Vineyards and Three Island State Park signs). Turn left on Commercial , heading south until you come to Madison. Turn right on Madison and travel 1.5 miles to the west. The Carmela Vineyards Restaurant is on the left.

Heading East on I-84: (from Boise) Take Exit 120 and turn right off the freeway on N Bannock Ave. Take Bannock south until you reach E. 1st Street. Turn left on E 1st Street and go east until you come to Commercial Street. ( You will see the Carmela Vineyards and Three Island State Park signs) Turn right on Commercial. Stay on Commercial until you reach Madison. Turn right on Madison and travel 1.5 miles to the west. The Carmela Vineyards Restaurant is on the left.
